March 2017, The updated standard, Edition 2.0, was published.
IEC 62561-1 "Lightning protection system components (LPSC) - Part 1: Requirements for connection components".
There was an important addition to the Standard. Now it includes the requirements for various connection types:
Exothermic welding
Brazing
Welding
Clamping
Crimping
Seaming
Screwing/bolting
Connection components can be connectors, clamps, bonding and bridging components, expansion pieces and test joints.
"Pittas Dragnis Ltd" has allready implemented the new standard IEC 62561-1:2017.
